Legal Recruiting Coordinator

The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will coordinate all activities and processes related to on-campus recruiting during each recruiting season. This position collaborates closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager in all phases of recruiting efforts for new attorneys and summer associates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager to execute 1L and 2L student recruiting efforts.
- Coordinate law student interview schedules, including sending calendar invitations and confirmation communications with students and attorneys.
- Assist with strategy and logistical coordination for law school recruiting initiatives and the firm's summer associate program.
- Perform administrative tasks related to recruiting, including maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and updating recruiting reports and charts.
- Serve as a firm liaison with search firms, law students, and career services professionals.
- Propose, plan, and execute initiatives toward firm visibility with respect to law students.
- Support lateral associate hiring efforts by posting open positions and coordinating interview logistics, including scheduling meetings, setting up video conferencing, reserving conference rooms, and preparing interview materials.
- Coordinate new hire orientation schedules and assist with onboarding logistics.
- Plan, coordinate, and attend recruiting events as necessary.
- Must be willing to work overtime as required, particularly during peak recruiting periods from May through July and January through February.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of increasing experience in an administrative, human resources, or recruiting role; prior law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Must be a team player and exercise good judgement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and have a professional demeanor.
- Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
