Patient Service Rep

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative for a contract opportunity in Los Angeles, CA with a leading healthcare services organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented healthcare administrative professional who enjoys supporting patients, coordinating care, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment. As a Patient Service Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for patients while managing scheduling, phone support, authorizations, and related administrative workflows. Key Responsibilities Coordinate patient scheduling across multiple departments while ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience. Provide high-volume phone support, including answering patient inquiries, routing calls, and assisting with appointment-related needs. Process, track, and manage patient authorizations accurately and efficiently. Use EPIC to update patient records, manage scheduling details, and support daily administrative workflows. Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal departments regarding appointments, authorizations, and care coordination needs. Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while working in a busy healthcare setting. Compensation and Benefits Pay rate: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour. Job type: Contract/Temporary. Location: Los Angeles, CA. For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, major medical, dental, vision, 401k, and any statutory sick pay where required.
