United by our core values and our purpose of helping people thrive in the brave pursuit of next, our 20,000+ people in 53 offices around the world combine experience across technology, data sciences, consulting, and customer obsession to accelerate our clients’ businesses through designing the products and services their customers truly value.OverviewWe’re looking for a Senior Adobe Journey Optimizer engineer who can take a business flow from a Miro board to a live, multi-channel journey and act as the technical point person with the client while doing it.You'll design and build journeys and campaigns across the Adobe Experience Cloud (AJO, AEP, Adobe Campaign), own data readiness and channel integrations, and troubleshoot the platform when things break. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who is equally comfortable in a schema mapping discussion, a push-token debugging session, and a client status call.ResponsibilitiesYour ImpactDesign and implement technical journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer from documented business flows (e.g., Miro), translating requirements into working orchestration.Lead data-readiness work in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP): schema validation, dataset mapping, segment/query definition, consent-data strategy, and data ingestion/collection.Build and maintain campaigns/journey workflows in AJO, including new features, updates, exclusions, health checks, and environment availability for testers and end users.Set up and integrate messaging channels including email, direct mail, and web, coordinating with internal teams and third-party providers.Provide technical troubleshooting and support.Evaluate out-of-the-box platform limitations and define technical workarounds (e.g., List Unsubscribe, campaign feedback tracking, data lake ↔ AJO coexistence).QualificationsSkills & Experience6+ years in marketing automation.Deep hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience building and delivering journeys.Strong Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) skills, including schemas, datasets, segments, queries, data collection, and Assurance.Understanding of consent management, deliverability, and unsubscribe handling.A client-facing, consultative style with excellent written communication and documentation habits.Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.Certifications (Strongly Preferred)Adobe AEP Certification.Adobe AJO Certification.Set Yourself Apart WithExposure to Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target.Experience connecting and rationalizing an existing Adobe tech stack for clients (solution architecture / consultancy).Prior experience as a campaign operations coordinator or technical lead, mentoring or training other engineers.Computer Engineering or Computer Science background.What Makes You a FitYou like owning a journey end to end, from the data underneath it to the push notification that lands on a phone, and you're the person who figures out the workaround when the platform won't do something out of the box.You keep clients informed, write documentation others actually use, and hold certifications that back up the hands-on skill.Additional informationAn inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and collaboration.Access to ongoing learning and development opportunities.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Flexibility to support work-life balance.Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family.Wellness program and employee assistance.As part of our dedication to an inclusive and diverse workforce, Publicis Sapient is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity without regard for race, color, national origin, ethnicity, gender, protected veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.
