We are excited to expand into Lees Summit, Missouri which will be the new home for our corporate office. This expansion coincides with the launch of our new 260+ acre mixed-use development, which will feature approximately 2,900 luxury multi-family units, as well as over 660,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality space, and other related commercial uses./ppConstruction Project Accountant Position: Our Construction Project Accountant manages the finances for specific building projects, handling budgets, tracking costs (labor, materials, subcontractors), processing invoices and progress billings (such as AIA forms), ensuring compliance, and reporting financial health to project managers, focusing on profitability and timely financial closeouts for each job./ppConstruction Project Accountant Responsibilities:/pulliTrack, analyze, and report job costs across multiple construction projects/liliReview and verify project budgets, change orders, and cost codes/liliAssist with budget development and forecast projections/liliMonitor actual project costs vs. budget and identify variances/liliCollaborate with project managers to review cost data and provide actionable insights/liliTrack labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs/liliReview and reconcile project costs against budgets and forecasts/liliGenerate timely and accurate job cost and variance reports/liliPrepare monthly cost reports and support month-end closings/liliEnsure proper coding and documentation of job-related transactions/liliPerform audits and assist with internal/external reviews/li/ulpConstruction Project Accountant Requirements:/pulli2+ years of experience in construction accounting or job cost accounting/liliStrong knowledge of construction cost accounting principles/liliProficient with accounting software/liliExcellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)/liliStrong analytical and organizational skills/liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment/liliAttention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities/liliKnowledge of construction contracts and billing methods (AIA)/li/ul/div
