Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• NYS Physical Therapist License and Registration
• 1+ years experience in outpatient orthopedics

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM with alternating split shifts.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, with 1 Saturday every 5 weeks.
• Possible float to other locations if emergency coverage is needed.
• Modern outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Perform outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Average caseload is 12 patients per day with a diverse patient population.
• Caseload includes an equal distribution of post-operative and non-post-operative patients.
• EMR: Clinicient.

Location Highlights

Southampton, New York offers access to both coastal recreation and cultural attractions on the South Fork of Long Island. Cooper's Beach is about 2 miles from central Southampton, and Shinnecock Hills Golf Club is located just west of town for candidates who enjoy a coastal and suburban setting. Southampton Village includes Jobs Lane shopping and the Southampton Arts Center, while the Long Island Rail Road provides service to Manhattan in about 2 to 3 hours.
