Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Prestonburg, Kentucky.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and a KY or compact RN license.Details\n \n Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting\n 4x10-hour day shifts scheduled Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm\n Call required 1-2 times per week and 1-2 weekends per month\n Float required within scope of practice\n Meditech charting system experience preferred\n Provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases\n Requirements\n \n Active KY or compact RN license required\n Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required\n AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n Previous travel experience preferred\n IR experience a plus\n Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered\n Driver's license matching permanent address required for consideration\n Two professional references required, including one charge or higher and one supervisor reference completed within the last year\n Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered case-by-case)\n Additional Information\n \n Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for STEMI call response\n Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment\n Up to 7 days of RTO considered if submitted upfront with no changes accepted\n Travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after working one year before being eligible to return\n Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit\n Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-756827.
