The Hospital RN Magnet Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer, partners with the Nursing Executive Council, Quality & Education, Outcomes/Program Evaluation, and Magnet Champions. The role chairs the Magnet Steering Committee, curates exemplars, prepares ANCC documentation, delivers Magnet-aligned education, and implements safety processes within a supportive culture of friendly nurses and a diverse, collaborative care team; qualifications for the Hospital RN Magnet Director include a Master's in Nursing, active NY RN license, prior Magnet leadership in a designated facility, excellent communication and writing, and strong project/tech skills, with specialty certification preferred.
