Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients, including a geriatric mix, in a fast-paced environment.

Position Information:

• Department: Medical Surgical Combination
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and as needed
• Floating Requirements: Possibly to ACU on a PRN basis
• Number of Beds: 16 Med/Surg & 2 ACU
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• EHR System: Medhost

Unit Information:

• Patient Population: Adult patients with a geriatric mix; no pediatrics
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Lower-level acute care and subacute rehabilitation

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Kentucky RN licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in acute care and some rehabilitation settings

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Solids without specific color requirements
• Unacceptable Attire: No fleece, hoodies, or non-scrub clothing

• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with nursing care
• Professional demeanor and commitment to providing high-standard patient care
