Registered Nurse Orthopedic

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to orthopedic patients across a 29-bed unit, supporting adult through geriatric populations with surgical, medical, and telemetry needs. This role involves working nights on a 3x12 schedule, with opportunities to float and serve as Charge RN as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and surgical patients.
• Monitor telemetry data and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Serve as Charge RN during shifts, providing leadership and oversight.
• Float to various units as required, ensuring seamless patient care coverage.
• Complete all required documentation and maintain compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including recent travel experience.
• Hold an active RN license and BLS certification.
• Demonstrate previous Charge RN experience.
• Be proficient in EPIC EMR systems and pass a compliance EKG exam.
• Be flexible to work night shifts, every other weekend, and float as needed.
• Submit third-party education verification; background check must be clear.
