Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treatedinclude but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation,vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on thecomplexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management,pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicatedinfections requiring log-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non=healing woundsrequiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressingchanges. RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care inthe long-term acute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians,CCO/coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditionincluding results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respondquickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments withadequate supervision. LPN will provide patient care services that meetthe psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communicationneeds of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative andresponsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervisionof a Registered Nurse. Job Requirements CurrentRN or LPN Louisiana Licensure. Acutecare, med-surg, critical care of ICU experience is preferred. CurrentBLS certification. CurrentACLS certification.
