Job Description
Exciting Cath Lab Nurse Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: 07:00 - 17:30
- Holidays as required.
- Weekend on-call every 6 weeks.


Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.
- Participate in patient and family teaching; provide leadership by collaborating with team members and other disciplines.
- Maintain high standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working independently in Cath Lab procedure rooms.
- Respond to calls within 20 minutes during on-call duty.


Work Schedule:
- Flexible shifts: 4x10 hour shifts per week, typically 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible 5 AM start times.
- Some weekday shifts may be required.
- Enjoy 30-minute lunch breaks.

Education & Certifications Required:
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, or Red Cross.
- Licenses: Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted).

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred; will consider 18 months if working under the highest level of professional license.
- Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty field.

Float Requirement:
- Must be willing to float to various units/hospitals as needed.

Parking:
- Parking available on-site.

Guaranteed Hours:
- 36 hours/week.

Contract Duration:
- 91 weeks.
