About the Position

Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Critical Care training Pressor medication management Art line management Critical Drip management Description: The unit consists of 10 beds with a total of 28 staff members. Day shift includes 1 Charge Nurse and 5 nurses. Night shift also includes 1 Charge Nurse and 5 nurses. The patient ratios are 1:2. Types of equipment used include CRRT, vents, MTP, Hemospheres, art lines, and TTM. EMR system utilized is Meditech Expanse. Typical procedures performed on the unit include bronchoscopy and CVC and art line insertion. Candidates must exhibit flexibility and adaptability. Preferred skills include critical drip management and art line management. Floating may occur to MICU, TICU, and ICC. Dress code for the unit is royal blue scrubs. Attendance policy and schedule commitments should be met. Candidates must be available for 4 weekend shifts within a scheduling period of 4 weeks.
