Occupational Therapy Assistant

Minimum requirements: Associate of Arts degree supplemented by completion of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program. One year of experience providing occupational therapy services, assisting children of various ages is preferred but new graduates are accepted. Passed a national examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and hold a current California certificate issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy OR Possess a current California OTA limited permit while completing the NBCOT examination in order to obtain a California certificate issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
