Assembler - Manufacturing

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regs Assembler - 3rd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential.

What you'll do:

The Regs Assembler is responsible for performing the final assembly operations of electricity regulators according to prescribed standard methods and procedures.


In this function, you will:
• Perform tasks across various work centers, including covers, pumps, basic assembly, single-pot assembly, two-pot assembly, all tap changer.
• Build the product per work instructions and quality standards that are required in the assembly with use of calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
• Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time.
• Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot any potential problems found in order to complete ratio test.
• Move units by use of overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
• Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective or require other needed changes.
• Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments.
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to interpret document specifications.

• Ability to work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises.
