Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nursing opportunity available in a magnet designated acute care hospital. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy ER setting. The position offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, following established clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC are mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience, including experience with adult and pediatric patient care, advanced procedures, and traumatic cases. No prior travel experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in ENPC is preferred. Experience inserting central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and managing post-cardiac arrest hypothermia is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing critically ill patients, performing invasive procedures such as intubations, and participating in stroke, trauma, and code blue responses. Candidates must be flexible to float within scope to different units, including inpatient floors and between facilities as needed. Travel within a 75-mile radius is not accepted for local candidates. The contract is from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
• Licensing: IL license in hand required at time of submittal; MO license required if applicable.
• Shift Details: Night shifts with at least 36 hours per week.
• Special Requirements: Experience with invasive procedures like central and arterial line insertion, management of trauma patients, and pediatric emergency care. Critical procedures and patient transfers are part of routine responsibilities.
