Cost Accountant

Location: Mosinee, WI 54455 Position: Cost Accountant What You’ll Do: Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions. Collaborate with department managers and senior leadership to review financial performance. Conduct in-depth production data analysis, identifying key cost drivers and variances. Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to ensure alignment with budgeted standards. Evaluate labor efficiencies and production costs to optimize financial performance. Perform manufacturing floor reviews and analyze material rework and scrap. Conduct profitability analysis across multiple product lines and customer accounts. Partner with engineering and estimating teams to refine cost estimates and production standards. Assist in preparing departmental budgets and participating in annual inventory evaluations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Three years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to data evaluation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power BI experience is a plus). Ability to adapt to new technologies and software for efficient data analysis. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
