Community Manager - BTR (61906)

Role Overview As the Community Manager BTR, you’ll oversee the community’s daily financial, administrative, leasing, marketing, and maintenance operations while ensuring company standards and excellent customer service are delivered. Key Responsibilities Regularly inspect communities to ensure compliance with company standards, safety, industry, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate daily with the maintenance team to coordinate move‑in dates with potential renters. Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact occupancy and revenue; implement marketing and leasing strategies accordingly. Develop resident retention through timely communication and resolution of service issues. Manage repair and maintenance requests, verify unit status, and ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed. Partner with the Regional Manager to create operating income/expense budgets and ensure budgeting guidelines and financial systems are followed. Review monthly income and expense reports, report variances, coordinate collections, and prepare operational and financial reports. Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions. Manage on‑call responsibilities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. You Have 3–5 years of prior community management experience. Ability to work remotely. Ability to travel by automobile and airplane for company training or business. Intermediate MSOffice (Word/Excel) and general technology skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Positive, motivating, team‑oriented attitude. Effective communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, competitive environment. Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management is a plus. Background in accounting/finance, licensed community manager, or Yardi experience are additional pluses. A valid driver’s license may be required.
