Employment Type Part-time Requirements Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Job Description - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed. - Prepare patients for procedures by explaining treatment plans and ensuring their comfort. - Take and develop dental X-rays following the dentist’s instructions. - Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment for use. - Set up and maintain patient treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization. - Record patient information, treatment plans, and medical histories accurately in dental software. - Provide post-treatment care instructions and patient education. - Manage dental materials, ensuring proper use and handling. - Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and progress. - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. - Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols. - Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. - Provide support with administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing patient records.
