The applicant should have a background in Electrical or Computer Engineering with demonstrated skills in the development of power supply, motor control, and power distribution unit test systems.Essential or Primary / Key Responsibilities:Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/ReportsAbility to use various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes) and automate testing utilizing said equipment.Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables.Work with outside vendors and suppliers.Qualifications:B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required7+ Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testingExperience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)Must be a US CitizenRequired Skills:Test equipment hardware selection. Electrical schematic generation. EEE parts selection.Software: OrCAD, LT Spice, MS Visio, MS OfficeAdditional skills Preferred:Project planning, monitoring, and reportingExperience in PCB layout and routingSoftware: MS Visual Studio, LabVIEWPrograming Languages: C#, LabView, MS SQLData/Communication Types: Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE-488, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS-485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J-TAGThis position is at our Parsippany NJ office location. Pay Range: $110,000- $130,000 per year Many of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
