Dental Assistant – Chesaning Family DentalWe're looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is dependable, energetic, and enjoys being part of a great team!A Little About UsChesaning Family Dental is an established private family practice in Chesaning. We have a wonderful team, an amazing Doctor, and a practice that truly puts our patients and our team first. We're looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive office.What You'll Be DoingAs a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with the Doctor and team to help provide a great experience for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materialsWelcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visitAssisting the Doctor with procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instrumentsTaking and documenting intraoral photographsThoroughly charting treatment and patient informationPouring, trimming, and polishing study castsFabricating temporary restorationsCleaning and polishing removable appliancesSterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment roomsFollowing OSHA and infection control guidelinesAnswering patient questions and helping them feel informed and comfortablePitching in wherever needed and being a positive part of the teamWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:A certified or experienced Dental AssistantCurrent in CPR certificationReliable, organized, and detail- orientedComfortable working in a busy dental officeFriendly and personable with patientsA team player with a positive attitudeAvailable to work our Monday–Thursday scheduleScheduleMonday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMThursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMFriday: No Fridays at this time, but this could change in the futureWhat We Offer$18–$25/hour, based on experience and skill levelBenefitsOpportunities to learn and growA friendly, supportive private practice environmentA great team and positive workplaceIf you're looking for a private practice where you can work with a great team, build relationships with patients, and feel like part of the family, we'd love to meet you!
