Job Full Description

Express Employment Services has a several career opportunities available for professional accounting service specialists for one of our valued clients. Our client is seeking an experienced candidate to perform advanced accounting functions relating to financial statements, tax, and cost accounting, general ledger and payroll services.

Accounting Services Specialist Responsibilities:

Coordinate accounting activities.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret accounting records, financial reports, government reports, statistics, and data processing services related to accounting.
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Develop accounting standards and procedures to assure uniform accounting practices, internal controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls, verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Manage payroll activities
Report organization's finances to management, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Interact with IT managers to coordinate accounting and IT systems

Qualifications:

2- 5 or more years' experience
Very strong Excel skills
Excellent Math skills needed
Extensive accounting software
