Urgent Care Medicine earning $380,000 per year while practicing half the month

Position: Urgent Care Staff Physician 

Location: Bakersfield, CA

1099: Full-time, Part-time, & PRN Available, $150/hour

Bonus: $100,000 Sign-On for Full-Time Only

Stipend: $60,000/year for Medical Directorship

Job Overview: We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Bakersfield, CA

Essential Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts, and managing 4 mid-levels
• Part-time is 6 shifts per month and managing up to 4 mid-level providers.
• Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care)
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray.
• A board-certified radiologist overreads all X-rays, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• EMR is Experity with AI Dragon dictation

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
• Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
• Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• DEA Certificate

Compensation details: 150-150 Hourly Wage
