Registered Nurse – Inpatient Adolescent Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Travel assignment starts 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,238–$2,373 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shift, with flexibility to cover other shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital inpatient unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adolescent inpatients in the behavioral health unit, including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, documentation, and care planning.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic effects and potential adverse reactions; maintain accurate medication administration records.
- Implement crisis prevention/intervention protocols (TCI/CPI/MANDT/TEAM) as required; maintain patient and staff safety.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, and family members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans; participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document incidents; perform appropriate de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure smooth admissions and discharges, accurate handoffs, and up-to-date documentation in the electronic health record; follow unit workflows.

Requirements
- Current, active RN license (state of practice) in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Active Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) or Crisis Prevention (CPI) or MANDT or TEAM certification required
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and be flexible to cover additional shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in inpatient adolescent behavioral health settings is preferred
