People like you.Visit our careers page to see what exciting opportunities and company perks await!Job Description:Major job responsibilities:Perform Internal Audits for worldwide locations based on ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 21434, IEC 62443 etc.Assist with 3rd party QMS certifications and on-going 3rd-party audits at multiple designs and manufacturing locations.Support integration activities related to company acquisitions into Microchip's QMS. Help manage their certification activitiesSupport aspects of Customer issue resolution and problem solving.Work with Microchip WW factory teams to support process/system improvements.Interface to new product development teams; propose procedures/systems for improving new product releases and related requirements.Lead and Assist Corporate Objectives in achieving new QMS and Product Cybersecurity Related Certifications such as ISO 21434, IEC 62443 etc.Work to resolve customer quality issues; interface with Engineering, Failure Analysis, Sales and Manufacturing to identify root cause and implement Corrective Actions.Perform contract and feasibility review on customer technical specifications and non-standard requests. Work with engineering and factory to implement customer requirements.Work with all company functions to review operations and propose procedures/systems for improving and streamlining operationsDevelop as-is and to-be process maps.Support quality improvement initiative and programs to achieve 0 ppb.Assist with performing gap analysis, review and implementation of various QMS Standards and associated requirements into Microchip ProcessesAssist and lead Corporate Quality Applications / Tool Development with ability to incorporate Machine Learning Capabilities into the tools developed for WW Microchip Locations.Requirements/Qualifications:BS in Engineering or equivalent (E.g. Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) ; Masters preferred5-7 years of work experience preferably in an electrical/electronic field/Semiconductor Industries.Have working knowledge of Statistical concepts and tools (e.g., SPC, DOE, Regression Analysis, MSA, Minitab, JMP, etc.)Basic programming and data analytical skills (e.g., Python, Power BI, Tableau etc.)Have excellent skills in problem solving and performing root cause analysisAbility to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluationGeneral knowledge of semiconductor productsMicrosoft Office SuiteProven record of working on multiple projects either alone or with cross functional teams across multiple levels of the organization and presenting to leadership.Possess excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsCapable leadership skills necessaryStrong self-motivational abilityFlexible with travel and working with teams from multiple domestic and global time zones.Travel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Feeling, Handling, Hearing, Noise and/or vibration, Other, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:Normal business hours, 100% insideMicrochip Technology Incis an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
