Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift | $19.10/hr | Newton, NC

$19.10/hour | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Assembly & Machine Operator | Temp-to-Hire

The Greer Group is hiring Assembly Associates and Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts with a leading automotive manufacturer in Newton, NC .

These are temp-to-hire career opportunities in a clean, established manufacturing facility. Training is provided onsite, Saturday overtime is routine , and double-time is paid on Sundays when Sunday work is required.

PAY

$19.10/hour
$18.00 base pay + $1.10 shift differential

Routine overtime on Saturdays
Double-time pay on Sundays when required

2ND SHIFT

Assembly
2:15 PM – 10:30 PM

Machine Operator
2:00 PM – 10:15 PM

3RD SHIFT

Assembly
10:15 PM – 6:30 AM

Machine Operator
10:00 PM – 6:15 AM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Depending on your position, you may:

• Assemble automotive components
• Operate production machinery and equipment
• Load, unload, and monitor production equipment
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow established work instructions and production procedures
• Identify and report equipment or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with your team to meet production and quality goals

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must meet background screening and drug testing requirements
