Inova Health System is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Child Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the team. Inova Kellar Center has provided behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and families for more than 35 years, offering comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment programs and an innovative special education school. The Center was founded in 1991 in partnership with Inova and visionaries Art and Betty Kellar, with a strong commitment to serve children and families in the multicultural Northern Virginia region. Program Features Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) Psychological and educational testing Individual therapy services Group therapy services Medication management (including MOUD clinic) The Kellar School Inova Behavioral Health’s extensive continuum of care includes services offered at various locations across Northern Virginia, such as inpatient adolescent psychiatry, adult inpatient psychiatry with detoxification programs, adult partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, adult outpatient medication management clinic, counseling services, and specialty care integration with neuromodulation. The team at Inova Kellar Center is collaborative and multidisciplinary, comprising BC Child Psychiatrists, licensed therapists and trauma specialists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric nursing team, and mental health technicians. Additional Requirements Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution, board certified or board eligible in child psychiatry. Experience: Successful completion of an ACGME physician residency and child fellowship program. Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Virginia and a Virginia DEA registration. Payer credentialing: Ability to complete credentialing with third‑party payors and enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor. Medical staff credentialing: Successful completion of medical staff membership credentialing and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services. Other Preferred Qualifications Experience managing substance use disorders (Prescribing Suboxone) or board eligible/certified in addiction psychiatry.
