Peer Support Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Mindset Mental Support. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will provide mutual support and guidance to individuals facing challenges, using your personal experience to offer emotional support, share resources, and facilitate recovery-oriented activities. Responsibilities: Provide peer support services to individuals facing mental health challenges, including crisis intervention and support Share personal experiences and insights to promote understanding and empowerment Connect individuals with community resources, services, and support systems Facilitate recovery-oriented activities and groups, such as art therapy and social events Maintain accurate records and reports of services provided Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure individualized support plans Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge Requirements:
PEER SUPPORT CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
