Driver - CDL B

Class B Delivery DriverWe are in search of a Class B Delivery Driver to join our growing team. Starting Pay Rate - $26.65 per hour.Responsibilities Include:Operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehiclePick-up loads and organize goods in an orderedEnsure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinationsMaintain the predetermined route and ensure timely deliveriesCommunicate with dispatch as neededConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripNotify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsComply with ICC and DOT regulationsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Valid Class B driver's license requiredHigh school or GED equivalent requiredExperience with Local Deliveries/Inside deliveriesExperience driving Straight truck (bobtail 24ft to 26ft) Manual transmission preferredAble to use lift gate, operate pallet jacks. Use hand truck & dollies.2+ years of delivery driver experienceDriving record must meet company safety standardsAbility to pass pre-placement drug testingMust be able to maintain a DOT Medical Card, required for the role.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a timeAble to operate an electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.Proficient using GPS and other routing systemsHigh level of composure and good stress managementCompensation & Benefits:This is a union position with a starting pay rate of $25.65/hour in accordance with the CBA.
