Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

This traveling Physical Therapist role in East Wareham, MA at an outpatient clinic helps patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation, treatment plan development, and functional goal setting. Experience with documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, functional quality indicator assessment, and charge entry in compliance with clinic policies and payer requirements. Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide clinical instruction to students as assigned. Adherence to state Practice Act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education. Preferred: Experience with safe patient handling practices and outpatient clinic equipment. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Assignment Duration: 13 Week assignment. Schedule: 5x8 shift pattern. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
