Our people are our greatest asset, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share our values and want to grow with us.This remote Solutions Architect position is responsible for providing expert guidance on the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise data platforms built on Databricks. The role supports the development of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-based data solutions, including data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and streaming workloads. The successful candidate will serve as a technical advisor, collaborating with engineering, cybersecurity, and business teams to establish best practices, support platform modernization, and drive adoption of emerging Databricks capabilities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdvise on the architecture, design, and implementation of Databricks solutions, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow, Databricks SQL, Mosaic AI, and related platform capabilities.Design and guide data migration, integration, streaming, and zero-copy data sharing strategies across cloud and enterprise environments.Establish security, governance, compliance, performance optimization, and cost management best practices for Databricks platforms.Mentor data engineers, analysts, and AI/ML teams, participate in architecture reviews, and contribute to technical standards and documentation.Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.Required QualificationsMinimum of seven (7) years of experience designing, implementing, and operating Databricks solutions using medallion architecture.Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark Structured Streaming, Lakeflow (or Delta Live Tables), Databricks SQL, MLflow, and Mosaic AI Model Serving.Strong experience designing cloud architectures, including networking, security, storage, and key management services (e.g., VPC/VNet, S3/ADLS, KMS).Proven experience migrating enterprise data platforms from legacy or on-premises environments to Databricks.Experience with real-time streaming, change data capture (CDC), data governance, encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Databricks notebooks.Ability to handle confidential information with discretionStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolutionWhat We OfferPay depending on experienceEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) -- giving employees a direct stake in the company's long-term success100% employer-paid Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD for all full-time employees; dependents can be added with payroll contributionsMedical coverage -- PPO or HDHP plan options; dependents can be added with payroll contributionsAbundant employer contribution for HSA enrolleesAccident, Critical Illness, and Voluntary Life InsuranceRobust PTO plan and 11 paid holidays per yearGenerous 401(k) with safe harbor program and up to 4% dollar-for-dollar match$1,500 yearly personal development reimbursement for all levels of employeesCorporate gym membership rates at Orangetheory FitnessVeteran Support -- Military Leave ProgramExcellent working environment with team building and bonding eventsHow to ApplyIf you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary expectations via the APPLICATION portal.Banda Group International is committed to hiring veterans and those who have sacrificed for our country.
