This role will lead manual and automated testing of permissioned blockchain networks, smart contracts, tokenization and transaction workflows, APIs, web applications, and supporting services. You will partner with engineering, product, DevSecOps, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, high-performing solutions in a regulated financial-services environment.Your Primary Responsibilities:Lead quality engineering across multiple Blockchain Engineering teams, establishing testing strategies and supporting both manual and automated testingDesign, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test dataBuild and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testingPerform manual testing for new features, enhancements, production fixes, and complex business workflowsDesign and execute end-to-end testing for the Collateral AppChain, including smart contracts, tokenization and transaction workflows, network interactions, permissions, APIs, and on-chain/off-chain integrationsCollaborate with engineers during design and development to identify quality risks and define effective testing strategies early in the lifecycleParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesAnalyze requirements and user stories to ensure completeness, testability, and quality acceptance criteriaExecute functional, integration, regression, performance, and non-functional testing activities as requiredIdentify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution while providing clear reproduction steps and impact assessmentsSupport CI/CD initiatives by integrating automated testing into deployment pipelines and release processesWork closely with DevSecOps and security teams to validate application quality, reliability, and security requirementsDevelop quality metrics and reporting to provide visibility into test coverage, defect trends, release readiness, and overall product qualityContribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing test automation, quality processes, tools, and engineering best practices**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering rolesTalents Needed for Success:Demonstrated experience performing both manual and automated testing in enterprise software environmentsExperience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suitesStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and quality engineering practicesExperience testing REST APIs, web applications, microservices, and distributed systemsKnowledge of defect tracking, test management, and reporting toolsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience testing blockchain, digital-asset, or distributed-ledger platforms, including smart contracts and on-chain/off-chain transaction workflowsExperience with permissioned blockchain networks or AppChains; exposure to Hyperledger Besu or comparable enterprise blockchain technology is strongly preferredHands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or comparable technologiesExperience working with CI/CD platforms and automated quality gatesKnowledge of performance, security, and resiliency testing practicesWe offer top class training and development for you to be an asset in our organization!The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
