Maintenance TechThis is a full-time, year-round positionWage: $29.42-$37.82Location: Lovell, WYPosition OverviewThe Maintenance Tech is part of a team responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical equipment throughout the facility.Essential FunctionsMaintain process and packaging equipment throughout the facility, including but not limited to pumps, compressors, hydraulics, gearboxes, belt conveyors, scroll conveyors, chains, sprockets, fans, and bearingsPerform welding, cutting, and equipment setup and dismantlingOperate hand and power tools safely and effectivelyModel strong safety behaviors and serve as a safety leader for the teamSkill & Experience RequirementsTwo year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferredExperience maintaining mechanical and process/packaging equipmentBasic knowledge of vibration equipment, laser alignment, and oil analysisProficiency with computer systems; familiarity with LIMS and SAP a plusAbility to manage time effectively and perform well under pressureStrong troubleshooting skills and sound independent judgmentClear written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with othersFamiliarity with and commitment to company Core Values, safety policies, and quality programsExcellent safety record and reliable attendanceAbility to mentor and guide less senior team membersAvailability to work rotating shiftsTravel Requirements: NoneIt is the policy of The Western Sugar Cooperative not to discriminate against any employee or any applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, handicap, sex, physical condition, developmental disability, sexual orientation or national origin.
