Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10s, Monday–Thursday (0700–1730) | On-call every third weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within the Surgical Services / PACU department
• Supervise and coordinate care planning with other disciplines in the perioperative setting
• Deliver intraoperative and post-anesthesia patient care in alignment with department protocols
• Maintain familiarity with crash cart equipment and emergency response procedures
• Collaborate with perfusion, inpatient, and outpatient surgical support functions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; must be maintained with recertification every two years
• ACLS certification required; must be obtained within six months of employment and recertified every two years
• PALS certification required; must be obtained within six months of employment and recertified every two years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specialty credentials such as CNOR, CAPA, or CPAN preferred
• Prior experience in perioperative or PACU nursing settings
• Familiarity with outpatient surgical services
