Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care during labor and post-partum for both mothers and babies. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, assisting with labor, and ensuring safe delivery practices are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and document the progress of labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as per care protocols.
• Educate and support families during the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, with Post-Partum care experience.
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, and EFM; ACLS and STABLE certifications preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
