As a Security Officer Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced food and beverage location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will help to identify and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will play an important role in daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a food and beverage environment.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, spills, damaged doors or gates, and other site issues that could affect normal business activity and/or security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
