Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Community Health Network

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our new Surgical ICU (SICU) at Community Hospital North. This unit is a lower‑level ICU/higher‑level PCU focusing on post‑surgical patients, short‑term ventilated and trached patients. Patients are more mobile than typical ICU patients and turnover is quicker. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team in a 10‑bed unit, ideal for nurses new to critical care. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, or have three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Acute care experience preferred, but new graduates are considered. Excellent communication skills. Excellent team skills. Compassionate and caring. Accountable. Self‑directed.
