About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Memphis, Tennessee, 38104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience required in this specialty License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience, travel experience, large hospital experience Description: Medical Surgical / RN position available. Start date is as soon as possible. The shift is nights, with a ratio of 1:7. Team nursing will be implemented, and ratios may be higher with support from additional staff. First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have 3 or more years of recent experience. On-call work may be required as needed. There will be weekend requirements that rotate as needed. Block scheduling is not available, but weekend block scheduling may be considered. Local candidates (within a 100-mile radius) will not be accepted. All travelers must comply with the relevant licensing guidelines. All requested time off (RTO) should be included during the submission process. RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored. Travelers should not be submitted to more than one job ID or facility. The facility has strict compliance requirements, and all candidates must meet the listed qualifications. Candidates should have prior charge experience and familiarity with charting systems. Experience in large hospitals and trauma Level I is important. Float requirements should be expected, which may include other like units within a specified distance. Travelers should be prepared to work during major holidays if their assignment overlaps these dates. Past travelers must have been away for a minimum of one year before reapplying. Candidates must have completed at least one prior travel assignment. Education requirements allow for either an ADN or a BSN based on the position. Vaccination status should be included with the submission. Note that floating between campuses is rare unless specified.
