Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for RN Labor and Delivery!

Job Description:


- Location: Weatherford, TX
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Shift: 18:30 - 07:00
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 for Pitocin, 2:1 for other cases
- Number of Beds: 4 LDRs
- Documentation System: Meditech / CPN

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional care in Labor and Delivery and recovery.
- Deliver immediate newborn care during the vital golden hour.
- Circulate during c-sections and support in PACU.

Qualifications:


- Must Have:
- Active Texas RN License (temp licenses not accepted)
- 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery and immediate newborn care
- Certification in BLS, NRP, and AWHONN

- Preferred Skills:
- Ability to scrub c-sections
- Experience with Meditech

Dress Code:


- Scrubs: Provided by the facility
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy
- Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles/colors
- Beards/Mustaches: Trimmed and tidy
- Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
- Piercings: Visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited

Other Important Information:


- Floating Policy: No floating required
- Call Requirements: No weekend call
- Attendance Policies: Strict adherence to attendance
