Travel Radiation Therapist - Springfield, MO

This assignment provides the unique chance to further develop your expertise as a radiation therapist in a nationally recognized, innovative hospital environment. You'll gain invaluable experience with advanced technology such as Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and a cutting-edge Radixact unit installed in August 2024, as well as the Mosiaq and Epic EMR systems. Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 5x8, typically 8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00, depending on patient flow
• No weekends or call
• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• ARRT and RRA certification required; BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years' recent hospital experience in radiation therapy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Solid experience with linear accelerator (LINAC) patient setup and imaging
• Familiarity with Elekta equipment preferred
• Comfortable learning new workflows on-the-job

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments
