Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Coordinator, Infection Control (Administration) Job Type: Full-Time | Days Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours daily; rotating call. This position is located in Etowah, TN. Responsibilities Under the direction of an RN, contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis. Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication and document patient care provided. Assist the RN with development of plan of care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and to work in a stressful environment with appropriate action. Certifications: BCLS within 30 days of hire or transfer. License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Tennessee.
