Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

Ultrasound TechnicianThis is a 13-week contract position.Shifts will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Must be willing to take call.The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic ultrasound services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in conducting a variety of sonograms, including abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal scans, as well as small parts ultrasound for thyroid, breast, and scrotum. The technician is also skilled in performing ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.Conduct abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms.Perform small parts ultrasound examinations for thyroid, breast, and scrotum.Execute ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and aspirations.Ensure timely and accurate completion of diagnostic imaging tasks.Maintain compliance with safety protocols and regulations.Must have ARDMS or RDCS certification.BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.Preferred experience in Echocardiography; training may be provided.Must maintain state licensure as a general radiographer or equivalent certification.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
