Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent in perioperative nursing (ORT).
• Proven experience assisting in various surgical procedures in an operating room environment.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Ability to prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills under pressure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures by providing sterile instruments and supplies.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and functional.
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments during procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to facilitate a smooth operative process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in room turnover and equipment restocking as needed.

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
