Job Summary

Join a dedicated Cardiac Services team in New New York, US, as an Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse. This role is crucial for providing specialized patient care during complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for circulating and monitoring patients throughout interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

This position requires expertise in a wide range of specialized equipment and devices used in advanced coronary and peripheral interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after interventional cardiac catheterization and invasive vascular procedures.
• Function as a circulating nurse, managing the procedural environment and ensuring sterile technique.
• Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and overall condition throughout procedures.
• Anticipate and prepare necessary supplies and devices for procedures such as coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and stenting.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, technologists, and other nursing staff.
• Respond to STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) call as part of the on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in interventional cardiac catheterization and invasive vascular procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in circulating and monitoring during interventional cardiac catheterization and invasive vascular procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of supplies and devices used in coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and stenting.
• Ability to participate in STEMI call rotation.
