HVAC Technician

About the Role Field-based service and maintenance technician for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market, including Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes. Responsibilities Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work. Represent the company as the direct customer contact, ensuring satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems on the customer’s location. Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays. Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience. Technical School or formal training preferred. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad). Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations. EPA Certification. Compensation Hourly base pay range: $21.89 – $40.34. Compensation is determined by seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Incentive and commission: none.
