Trulite Commercial Driving Trainee Program (CDTP) | Internal Track | Location: Lithia Springs

WHO YOU ARE  

• A current  Trulite employee ready to build a long-term driving career without starting over somewhere else  

• At least 12 months of continuous employment at  Trulite with a satisfactory performance history  

• Able to secure a current manager recommendation and a backfill plan for your current role before applying  

• Safety-minded, reliable, and ready to  represent   Trulite on the road  

• Willing to commit to a service period with  Trulite after training in exchange for fully sponsored CDL training (details provided during Phase 1) 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING  

As a Driver Trainee,  you'll move through  Trulite's four-phase program:  

• Application &  Selection :  plant leadership approval, HR screening, MVR/background review, and DOT physical  

• CDL Training:  classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving, DOT compliance, glass-specific load securement, and CDL skills testing through an approved partner driving school  

• Driver Apprenticeship:  supervised ride-along and local delivery routes with an assigned driver mentor, progressively increasing responsibility, and formal checkpoints at 30 and 60 days  

• Full Driver Status:  independent route assignment safely  operating a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products  

SKILLS YOU BRING  

• Minimum 12 months continuous employment at  Trulite , satisfactory performance history, and a current manager recommendation  

• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes (18  permitted for intrastate-only roles, where applicable) 

• Valid driver's license held continuously for at least 3 years  

• No at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension on record  

• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment drug screen, and DOT medical certification  

• Willingness to sign the  Trulite training service agreement
