We are seeking an exceptional Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation department and play a meaningful role in the continued expansion of the firm. Job Description The Litigation Attorney will handle a portfolio of personal injury matters through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. This position is ideal for an ambitious attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, sophisticated litigation experience, and the opportunity to develop into a leading trial lawyer within a rapidly growing firm. Responsibilities Manage and strategically litigate personal injury matters from filing through resolution Develop comprehensive litigation strategies designed to maximize case value Draft and revise complaints, answers, motions, oppositions, replies, and other pleadings Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission Prepare meet‑and‑confer correspondence and discovery motions Prepare for, take, and defend plaintiff, defendant, percipient witness, corporate representative, and expert depositions Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy on complex legal issues Prepare for and argue motions before state and federal courts, as appropriate Retain and work closely with medical, economic, vocational, accident reconstruction, and other expert witnesses Prepare comprehensive mediation briefs and settlement presentations Represent clients at mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings Conduct settlement negotiations with defense counsel and insurance carriers Evaluate liability, damages, litigation risk, and case value throughout the life of each matter Maintain regular communication with clients regarding litigation strategy, significant developments, and case progression Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and firm leadership on high‑value and complex matters Supervise and provide direction to litigation paralegals, assistants, and support staff Maintain exceptional organization, calendaring, and compliance with all litigation deadlines Independently prosecute your own case load from negotiation in Pre‑Litigation phase to Settlement in Litigation phase.
