Job Title: Billing Specialist Location: St Louis MO 63101 Salary/Payrate: $70K-$85K annually and AWESOME benefits!!! Work Environment: Hybrid (1-2 days WFH) Term: Permanent / Fulltime Bachelor's degree required: No Paid Parking by firm: YES Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired JOB DESCRIPTION CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LAW FIRM BILLING EXPERIENCE The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing and processing client bills with the attorneys and their staff utilizing the Firm's billing platforms and facilitating electronic billing submissions. Responsibilities Coordinate with attorneys, staff and clients to generate, distribute, edit, and finalize legal bills through various billing formats, including a paperless prebill software system. Facilitate resolution of e-billing issues. Prepare reports and materials necessary to track billings. Maintain master client files in the Elite Legal Billing system. Perform additional billing duties as assigned by the Billing Manager or Regional Office Manager. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 applications, including Excel; experience with Coyote, Aderant, Elite Legal Billing or other Law Firm Billing platforms is required. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
