Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule: 7AM - 3:30PM

Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Assistant to help create custom foam inserts and protective cases used for precision tools and equipment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position that combines basic computer work, machine operation, measuring, and assembly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn new equipment and processes.
Previous experience with foam cutting or laser cutting equipment is a plus but is not required.
Job Responsibilities
* Operate computerized cutting equipment to produce custom foam inserts.
* Use computer software to enter measurements, adjust cutting layouts, and follow production instructions.
* Measure, cut, and fit foam materials into protective cases.
* Assemble and inspect completed cases to ensure proper fit and quality.
* Read and follow basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
* Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy.
* Monitor equipment during operation and report any issues.
* Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
* Maintain accurate production records using computer programs.
* Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
* Assist with other production and assembly tasks as needed.
Requirements
* Basic to intermediate computer skills are required.
* Ability to accurately read a tape measure and understand dimensions.
* Basic math skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small components.
* Comfortable working with computers and production machinery.
* Dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
* Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
* Experience operating computer-controlled machinery.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Adobe, or similar software.
* Experience with laser cutting, foam cutting, or custom case assembly.
