• Department: Outpatient Physical Therapy
• Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 8 hours, Monday to Friday
• Facility: Orthopedic Center
• Location: Auburn, ME 04210

• Work in a hospital-based outpatient environment.
• Utilize an EMR system integrated with all healthcare providers in the region.
• Practice hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Focus on individualized patient care with one-on-one sessions.
• No double bookings or overlapping appointments.
• Schedule is driven by therapists.
• New graduates in Physical Therapy are encouraged to apply, with mentorship and training opportunities available.

Our system includes a regional referral hospital, which features the only Cancer Care Center in the area, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and a heart and vascular institute. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide medically prescribed services to assess, treat, and restore function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities. Your patient-centered care will align with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.

• Conduct patient evaluations and physical therapy assessments.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation and functional enhancement.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery objectives.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and patient safety standards.

• Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate).
• Current state Physical Therapy license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire, with maintenance required.
