Performs within the scope of a RN as defined by the Vermont State Board of Nursing, functions regularly as charge nurse.PRE-REQUISITES:Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or enrolled in an accredited Direct Entry to Master of Science in Nursing Program with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Vermont (VT RN license or Compact State RN)Experience: Perioperative and critical care experience preferred. If no prior critical care experience, critical care course must be completed during orientation.Certifications Required: ACLS and PALS required if trained to phase 1 (PACU). BLS required for all Ambulatory RNs.
